About Our Hospital| What are your hours of operation? |
Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m.– 7:00 p.m. Saturday we are open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, we have regular office hours from 11am until 4pm. Please call 433-3763 to book a convenient appointment time. |
| What do I do in the case of an emergency and your clinic isn’t open? |
In an EMERGENCY, call California Veterinary Specialists at (760) 431-2273. They have three locations (Carlsbad, San Marcos, and Temecula) and are open 24 hours a day with staff trained in emergency veterinary medicine and surgery.

| Where is your clinic located? |
We are conveniently at 3308 Mission Avenue in Oceanside, approximately 2.5 miles east of I-5. Our hospital is one block east of the Best Western Hotel and we share the same parking lot as Yum Yum Donuts. Map |
| What do I do if I forgot my password? |
If you are a client of our hospital, you may obtain your client password by calling our practice directly at (760) 433-3763 or by e-mailing our clinic at MissionAnimal@aol.com . Our staff will confirm your association as a client and provide you with the password. |
| What forms of payment do you accept? Do you bill? |
We accept cash, local checks (with pre-printed name and proper ID), Mastercard, Visa, Discover and debits cards. Payment is expected when services are rendered and we do not bill. |
Yes, our Pet Lodge can accommodate dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, and pocket pets, such as rats, hamsters and guinea pigs. When the weather permits, our canine guests enjoy the outdoor runs during the day light hours. Individual playtime is available and our trained nursing staff can administer any needed medications, such as insulin injections, whlie your pet stays with us. For reservations and answers to other questions, please call 433-3763. |
For professional grooming, we refer clients to Classy K9 Clips, which is located right next to our hospital. Yvonne, the owner, has been a professional groomer for over 30 years and does excellent work with all breeds. Her grooming salon can be reached at 721-1562. If a pet needs a medicated bath, for a skin infection or some other type of medical problem, it can be done by our trained nursing staff. We also offer beak, wing and nail trims on all species of birds. |
